What’s New at Hiscale

Since version 2.3, JOBS has been using Grafana to view and filter log files. We now have added a dashboard view in Grafana that displays statistics in a configurable time frame, from the number of workflows that have run or failed to the utilization of nodes in clusters and more.

The statistics dashboard will be accessible from the JOBS menu bar and will be available as part of the next major release.

We are happy to share a great project we have just recently finished together with our german partner netorium AG:

We have built a mobile ingest platform for a german public broadcaster using our JOBS workflow orchestration platform and FLICS elastic transcoding solution.

Now, journalists can shoot content on their mobile devices, upload them from anywhere in the world using our technology. The SaaS offering will process the files and check them in into the customers on-premise production system.

2020 has certainly been different from what anyone was expecting.

For us, at Hiscale it has been a year full of exciting projects with customers from (literally) around the world solving their video processing requirements.
